
Dr. Byoung-chul Min is one of Korea¡¯s best-known
intercultural educators in the English language
educational field.
He has earned a doctorate in education with an
emphasis on teaching English as a Second/Foreign
Language from Northern Illinois University.
Dr. Min is the chairman of BCM Educational Group,
currently an adjunct professor at Chung-ang University,
and is a visiting scholar at New York University.
For many years, he had his own English instructional
TV programs on the major Korean television networks.
Dr. Min has served as the Co-chair and Chair of
several Korean TESOL Conferences, and has also
conceived and developed the National Practical
English Contest (NPEC), the first of its kind
in Korea, which judges the spontaneous practical
English conversation ability of Koreans.
Dr. Min's key publications include
